Archive

  1. The category Archive is defined as a document with several pages, comprising permalinks. Following our screening, Archives are managed on our website by providing a doi.
  2. We accept submissions for archive at any time, without specific submission deadline.
  3. A desirable archive should comprise a comprehensive list of permalinks, classified by a specific topic. This could include identifiers such as doi and handle, which facilitate access to datasets, including raw data and map resources pertinent to geolinguistics.
    • Links are either (an) individual author(s)' work or those of a relevant topic.
    • Providing a permalink for each dataset should be done under the applicant(s)' responsibility; we do not work for providing permalinks for each dataset.
    • We only screen the consistency as an archive and the correctness of links appearing in it; the links in the archive as well as the linked datasets must be managed by the applicant(s).
    • If the archive meets these conditions, it can include any other topic related to geolinguistics.

  4. In addition, a list of collections of papers by individual or multiple authors may be accepted.
  5. When submitting an archive, due to the doi procedures, a separate file with the archive name, the author's name, affiliation, abstract, and keywords in English should be attached.
  6. Whether or not the manuscript is accepted is decided by the Society management committee, which may give its opinion on the improvement of the manuscript.
